When applying for any job vacancy, we offer the following general advice:
- Ensure you have looked at the salary (you’d be surprised at how many people overlook this).
- Whilst not essential, remember that we always welcome visits to our School at any time.
- Make sure that you have used the correct application form; and that there are no gaps or omissions in your application.
- Check your application form is completed correctly; check for spelling mistakes, typos, grammatical errors and correct punctuation.
- Make sure your phone number is correct and during the short-listing period, ensure you keep an eye on your phone and that – at the very least – you have voicemail activated (and don’t forget to keep checking for messages from us).
- We inform candidates at the point of interview of the time-frame for being informed about whether they were successful or not. (We won’t keep you waiting).
